It’s been a while since our last update but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been hard at work improving TaskTrain. Here’s a summary of what’s been happening behind-the-scenes…

🔐 Account Updates

If you haven’t signed into TaskTrain since 12-September-2022, you’ll need to reset your password to sign in again.

The bulk of our behind-the-scenes work has been replacing the server application framework used for accounts management, database connections, and server deployment and hosting with more reliable and flexible alternatives which will allow faster future release cycles.

The new accounts management system improves application security but requires a password reset. To update your password, just go to station.TaskTrain.app and press Forgot Password?, then follow the prompts.

✅ Task List Enhancements

On top of major server infrastructure updates, we’ve also worked in a few user-facing improvements. One new feature is the ability to filter the Task list to show only Tasks assigned to you. Look for more Task-filtering enhancements in upcoming releases.

✨ Usability Enhancements

We’ve also been busy incorporating other user feedback, so if you haven’t used TaskTrain in a while, you may notice other enhancements the next time you log in, notably:

  • Changed detail pane tab order for immediate access to Procedure/Step Content / Assignment/Task Help. 🗂
  • Restored Manual, Procedure, Step, Assignment, and Task name fields to detail pane for contextual clarity and ease of editing. 📝
  • Replaced Help Center and in-app support chat platform. 💬
  • Added context menu to Procedure Step list. 🖱
